CREATING SERVERS?!?!?!?!
i can create a server and it shows up on the servers list. i choose server and play, i know its been done before and i dont have a firewall, why cant people join? please answer asap

same here... I opened up ports 3568 and 3569 and still can't do anything. Can't join any games (screen goes black). Is there anyother ports I might have to open?

I use a linksys router and have had to call their 24 hour tech support a few times to be able to host games. Have you tried that?

i have a dlink... i dont have a phone... how ever messed up that is ( ran into trouble with phone company $$$ if ya know what i mean) but i went to the site

You know what I don't have a router according to my modem. It is a zyxel Prestige 645 Series Multi-Mode ADSL Bridge/Router. There are 2 models

Models
- Prestige 645R: Multi-Mode Router
- Prestige 645M: Multi-Mode Bridge <--- I have this one

damn man thats messed up. you do have cable right? and you have the cable going to the modem then the RJ-45 going to the WAN port on the router then from the LAn ports right?

what does dsl run off of phone line or cable... or sattleite... i dont have dsl and never did... never cared much about it

what you mean by external modem? I just have

- Prestige 645M: Multi-Mode Bridge <--- I have this one

And that is what it runs off of.. then I got it runnin into my pc through usb

Im about to say screw it and go back to dial-up... lmfao.. never had any problems connecting to any games with dial-up. Regaurdless it's alot slower, but atleast I was able to play games.

No can't change any modes on it. I have a cpanel to where I can open ports and that kind of stuff, but can't change the mode of it that I know of
