players getting punted

When hosting DFLW players get punted. Why? Have recently gone to cable thinking this would get rid of this problem. Any suggestions to the solution. Have tried running optirun with no improvement, and updated game and also rebooted computer with no luck. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Try to set all the DF Host settings to default (Crosshair spread, recoil, scope drift should be on on) Stuff like that and turn all weapons on.

EXP is an expantion pack so you have more missions, terains and maps to play. www.terranova-exp.com its about 12.2 mb d/load. If you join a server playing on EXP maps you will be punted and get a "no height " or something like that

I had the same problem and ended up reinstalling the game to get my default settings back. When I did, I could change most of the settings except the page that has the scope settings. Tracers can be turned off safely though. Any others on that page caused the problem again.

It could be possible that when you change the settings, if someone comes in with thier settings different: i.e. mm1 banned they come in with mm1 as there primary weapon, that it screws with the program and causes them to be punted, or maybe they are running cheat trainers which is known to cause glitches and that might cause it to punt them. Just some thoughts I had.
