Thought about Novahq the other day....

Came here today looking for an app I wrote - though I couldn't remember if I uploaded it here (I don't see it in the file database so I'm assuming I didn't upload it here lol).


Any ways, how is everyone doing?


I myself am doing great. Playing Star Wars the old republic, ingress - and still waiting for a game to replace BHD

NovaHQ is probably one of the most active mapping sites.Delta Force is old but still i love playing it as i started gaming from Delta Force BHD.

I thought I had uploaded CS Cache Nuke - a program I wrote several years ago when clearing out BHD's cache folder seemed to fix an issue. Was updating my linkedin profile when it asked if I wanted to showcase anything. Thought why not my program.

I got a copy laying around here somewhere in my backups of backups of backups lol.


I was looking through the downloads here - I like the replacement lobby. I had thought about doing that 5 years ago. Cool that someone actually did it.


@City Ace - yes, NovaHQ has always been very active. They go way way back. BHD was a blast - it has ruined FPS gaming for me as I compare every game to BHD. I finally gave up on it though as I got tired of dealing with the "new gamers" who complained about every little thing that the old bhd players had learned to deal with.

I still have a copy installed though on the off hand chance one night I decide to pop in for a game

I don't think we've ever hosted that file here. I can't find it in my archives or on the forums. Both the links at dfreload.com and dfbarracks.com are dead and nowhere else seems to have it. You might be on your own with your backups ici

"new gamers" just aren't the same. I never really got into BHD myself but I feel the same way towards the older games like DF2 and LW. Nothing compares.
