I had to click the download link 3 times before it started, it would re-load the page, giving me a new product key, then sit there.. Finally on the third time it launched the downloader and started downloading

Didn't Microsoft close down the beta page for a while because of heaps of downloaders?
Those Win 7 downloads must be going slow as heck.

Yeah they made changes to their site, but its back up now. Still can' get it though ;P been trying for a couple of hours now hah

Well you can sign up for it on the Windows website and it gives you a key. I don't suppose key's are such a big issue if theres only 2.5 million people allowed to use the beta. Its free, so they're giving the keys away on the microsoft website just before you hit download.

Drivers for ethernet wouldn't work
It seemed about the same speed as XP to me. I didn't want to mess with my harddrive on my laptop

I love virtual box
lol, I used it to install D*mn small linux onto an old lap top that didn't have any floppy, ethernet, usb or cdrom drive And I'm planning on using it for win7 also |

Yep VirtualBox here as well.
I'm liking what I'm seeing till now. I've network and everything else working. Anti Virus won't install though. |

Yeah my ethernet works good. Haven't set up a network or anything because i dont have anything to network it with. IE hasn't crashed either yet, heard a few people saying that its been playing up for them.
