Because I collect old parts

And because your old parts are more than likely better than my new parts

My friend at work has like 5 systems and he is a single dad.

He is cool but he just builds computers for others and when he has left overs...he keeps em.

i call my tech support team up Gateway about getting more ram for my system and upgrades too.

i found out for 1012ram more add to it i can buy it for: 656.00, but if i go and buy a whole new system for 500.00 then add in my hardware to it, my CPU/Mother broad/ be update today standers. all i have to do is take my Tv-card,DVD player,Cd-writer and maybe my Zip-drive add them in. i be upgraded the whole system cheaper for me. not counting the HHD too. it will have 1gb ram to it anyways

don't really think i will add the Zip-drive to it 75.00 a floppy thats cost a lot were i can burn a CD-RW for .80c is cheaper.

i going to go that way.

i have to see what i can get for a GFX-card with it.

i what them to add-in Windows Xp Pro and maybe a super Grafic card too maybe a 256mb one.

What kind of ram is it? You can get 1 gig of PC2700 for like $120 or less.

my Ram card are rimm they are 800mhz each i have to buy them in pairs they are not cheap at all 512mb card cost like a freaking USD-450.00 and up percard. 2ea x 512ram rimm 800mhz be like 1100.00 w/tax

for me to get 1g of ram it would cost me like 1100.00 same amount i can get a new system, and add in my old hardware to it. for 500.00

my system has 4-open sluts total for the cards to be place into.
