Maps Punt Peep

I hate to ask a stupid question,but I recently got DSL(yee haw) and have been hosting.

If I use new maps(most of what you guys put on your site) I get a problem of people being punted.

Case in point,

I have three systems.
2 1800 xp systems with GF4
1 650 AMD classic with GF2(which I use for dedicated)

I use IP4TFD to log the two other systems here directly across the LAN into the server,and everyone else comes in through the MODEM.

Im using XP on 650 and have the firewall off.

I had 8 peep in my room and when map changed,it kicks everyone but me and my bro on the LAN.It never said it punted them,it just started counting off a timer next to everyones name.

It went through 10 maps before doing that,and everyone got back in without me resetting the server or doing anything.

The next map changed fine,but I GOT PUNTED(server said so)!!

I REALLY wanna keep a server up most of the time,but I need to get this resolved beforehand.I had the same trouble using one of the other systems.

I was thinking that new maps flood my upload,but a pal of mine can run the same maps with no trouble on a slower DSL service than what Ive got?!

Im at a loss,but I hope someone can help.

Pal has 96k up and 256k down.I have 128 up and 512 down,how many should we be hosting?

I should be able to get 12 if two are on LAN right?

Also,what does netdelay do?

I saw somewhere to set it to 0,but what does that do?

I had the same problem when I hosted. I also run Windows XP, but it just went away. (Go figure) So just wait it out like I did and it stopped.

Also, make sure the maps your using aren't EXP maps, because if they are, everyone that joins your server need to have EXP.

Yeah the pal of mine has WIN98 and my two host machines are too,but they do it too?!

Weird problem,gonna stick it back up anyways and observe.

No EXP for me,went through all that in DFLW...lol!!

It just kicks most when one pops up...
In a way we as a squad thought it was funny.....lol!!
