Cool Windows Vista to Replace XP

http://www.cnn.com/2005/TECH/ptech/0....ap/index.html

It looks as if the replacement for Windows XP, (formally codenamed "Longhorn"), will finally be launched as Windows Vista some time soon!!!!

Regards

Well, i dont much care for macs at all so if they're heading somewhat in that way (for looks and such) i'll be severely disapointed.

I suppose...I'm sure M$ was able to give them a tidy sum for the name. Personally, I wouldn't pay any money to have rights to the name (at least for any use of my own).

I see else where on these boards that "Vista" already has security problems so it's not looking to good for Microsoft's new baby!

It is expected to though, its in Beta and not expected to be released for over a year, thats exactly why Microsoft have released it to IT professionals now, to pick up on the bugs....

Better now than when its availiable retail at places...
