Everytime I try to install any of the DFLW mods (DF1, DF2 & TFD items/terrains/EXP... for DFLW) it gives me an error, is it possible that sice I'm running Windows 7 a 64bit OS is not compatable with it, the game works fine and it was written fof 32bits, any feedbak will be appreciated!

Have you tried running it in compability mode? Those games aren't the newest games

Might also be a permissions thing, make sure the folder isn't write protected.

Bullet Magnet, here is the message "FwO_DF_Mod_Installer_1 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if any solution is available."

I've seen similar problems with software when the program folder is installed inside Program Files (x86)... try installing everything in C:\Program Files\Novalogic or C:\Games\Novalogic

Yea, some of those old applications stop working past Windows XP.

Try what Stompem suggested and also compatibility mode for XP.

i recall in windows 7, i did right click-on the installer.exe select properties> capabilities > select windows xp/ SP2 before it started. you can make a shortcut to desktop then edit the short to do this too, if you like to use a Older Disc to install from as will

*[right click-on] item and select [troubleshot capabilities] it will run test see what capabilities mod be best to use!

some time windows 7 will ask do you wish to use it in capabilities mod/ test it, before it use it to install software in so windows know how to handle it!
===========
just a note:
in older games/ software need to add the 16bit file to run older games with, save headaches
*game software never seen any one had trouble install a game in due to them being 64bit
i use to get a lot of headache due to errors trying to use them older games DF1, DF2, DFLW, DFTFD

been so long, scott here will know about the 16bit i think the file to fix it, if i'm right

as for your system being 64bit don't have a answer for that! sorry

will that all i can recall, my brain is dead now days been so long
