Does anyone out there know how to find out the IP addresses of the people playing in a multiplayer game?

As a server, I'm getting tired of all the jerks that come into our game just to throw ignorant & downright rude comments and racism?... holy toledo. Yes, we could host password games, but we don't want to. There are many out there that come in and play and we have a blast. But, usually, at least one a night, we get the turds. (for lack of a nastier word)

We do punt them & ban them. But, even banning them, they still end up coming back in to the games.

banning should do it...it bans ther ip or something for a length of time...but they will always be able to get back in sooner or later

there is a few things you can do to a cable router to change your external IP address, so that allowes em to get back in. Unless you know there internal IP you wont be able to ban them for ever

Guess it's just one of them things ya gotta get used to when playing the game. They really do get annoying though!!

while you are hosting if you open your

programfiles/novalogic/landwarrior folder there is a text doc. called players
if you open that it gives you screen names and ip's of all current players in the server

also you can use the dem4.15 available in the df3 utiliys page
then if you ban or permanant ban it saves thier ip addy to a ban list that will work whenever dem is running

its also a remote host which is good so you can have squad members or people you trust monitor your server when you are not there

You can all so ban them only make it so all have to log-in to nova to be able to play in your host game.

Steps:
1.) Press K you lookup their name: 33 #19 hot cat.
2.) Press ~ type in ban 19 hit enter their account is now banned from your host game area.
3.) 2x around unbanned them.

only works if you have nova log-in enable if not will not work and all so you may get banned players in who may have cheated.

Remember not all players who been banned for cheating some got banned for trying to use the No-Cd patch and by chance they use a mod.exe all so using 3rd party software/program in the stats server they to will be auto-banned for trying it or even got banned for shooting their mouth off it happens using foul languish F/MF/and so on their so many reasons a player can get banned in stats servers.
Only a warning:
Never use a 3rd party program in side NovaWorld Stats servers you will get banned for it. they will not warn you about it when you been banned out.

whoa whoa whoa.....u can get banned for the No-CD patch?......no no no...why the hell would u guys and dfbarracks have it in the utilities f it was so bad....i only use it cause my cd rom is so damn noisy....iv heard u can do the double at4 thing only with the cd patch...but i havent even figured it out yet....

guy you have to use it smartly as in use the normal one to play stats and use the no cd patch out side nova stats servers.

take that No Cd patch rename it as in bhd_ncd.exe then put it into your game folder and make a new shortcut to it on your desktop, now use play it in any other servers out side stats servers.
