does this tut only work if i have 21 waypoints???? if not, if i want fewer waypoints what must i change???

no the waypoints are at whatever you want , just read the events ,and do according to how many WP you place ,
IE: if you have 13wp then set the events to change when x reaches wp 13, instead of wp21

thx for the quick response...........
i followed it word for word but i only have 8 waypoints.... therefore, i set it so Event 2 (Blackhawk Land and Reset) says: IF Group 3 reaches waypoint 1,8 THEN change group 3 AI: AI State to Land Reset Event 0 Reset waypoints Group 3 has visited Reset Event 1 Reset Event 2 my heli just keeps flying in circles and it wont land any ideas??

Please make sure your waypoints are far enough apart so the helo can make the turn if it misses a waypoint it circles and never lands. You may have to slow helo down if you have to reach the waypoints.

ok i have that down
first i have my blackhawk in the area trigger box my last waypoint is on the line of that box behind the blackhawk (not too far) my blackhawk goes thru all the waypoints and when it reaches the last waypoint (the 8th) it just stops in mid-air and hovers Any ideas?? and..... if i want it to slow down ata a later waypoint instead of the 4th i just change Blackhawk Slowdown to: Group 3 AI reaches waypoint 1,7 (instead of 1,4) right?

Right, and make sure your last WP trigger area is big enough, also make sure the WP is big enough, in "Attributes" on the right top side it will have a box for the size, try setting it around 10(standard is around 4) , so the helo doesnt overshoot it

if so, how big should it be?? and i cant find that size thing u were explaining

in the "Attributes " of the waypoint , in the upper right corner ,it says Waypoints then below it ,it says "Number" and "Distance" , in the Distance will be a number ,like 4 or 10, , make sure that is at least "10" , i use "15" (that is about the size of the helo plus the rotor circumfrence)myself ,use that size where the helo is cornering or at Takeoff/Landing points
And yes make sure your trigger box is also about the size of the helo including rotors , as the trigger only allows events to happen ,if the item or person is within that area

as you can see in the jpg , the trigger area is the same size as the helo, if you have set all your events correct, as well as put everything in the proper Groups , everything should work fine, also recheck your events and make sure that there is only the specific events , if any of them say "null" then delete those , as that may cause conflicts
