Delta Force original.. anyone playing?

I got my original out.. got the update . did the NLExe patcher.. got my router port at 3568 UDP.. still.. cannot connect to url.. what am i missing.. is it still being played? anyone????

Do you get a black screen when joining a game? You have to forward ports for that.

Personally, that port forwarding stuff never worked out for me. I prefer enabling DMZ (De-militarized Zone). DMZ forwards all ports so you never have to do it manually.

It does put you outside the router firewall though, so make sure you have a good firewall when you're in DMZ.

See your router manual or something and it may mention some stuff on it.

I am using XP . guess Ill have to try the DMZ thing .. but I have no idea how to go about that! . any suggestions.? I got a Netgear router. and the only firewall I have is the windows one, cause I have the router.. oh and no black screen just a message.. cannot connect to url

2.) use the server patch NL released? "NLExePatcher.zip" you install it?

unzip the file place it on your desktop then open it to patch: DF1, DF:2, DF3

Novalogic, inc and novaworld move all their older games to a new locatoin so all link to the servers have been change totally. NLExePatcher.exe you find inside the zip file

Get the .exe patcher. That's your prob mate.

And Windows Firewall is just fine. Well, it's fine for me (never had any probs).

Run this .exe patcher on your DF1.

i know novaworld is a bet odd they like these items disable for players to play online with other, if they are enable

DF1 is working online for me that is not play it for some time now like pass 60 days

I have the updates and the patch both installed.. I play DF2 all the time.. got those updates and the patch and it works fine.. tried the same things with df1 and I get a problem.

Patch... Well.. I tried that patch you sent the link for.. it worked.. The thing I dont understand is that it looked like the nlexe patch that I already had and did.. but when I ran it .. it found files that needed to be updated .. I also ran it for DF2 and it found files that needed to be updated.. weird cause I had just been playing df2 .. weird...... thanks guys! see you on df1 AND 2!!! come get me!

sorry that has to do with the firewall settings its general knowledge that NL use these area and firewalls block them if you get booted out a server say in 2sec could be 9-10 its was do to item were being blocked in anti-port scan as will stealth mod was enable in the firewall
