TFD game play

Hi all, I am looking for some technical advice. I had to repalce my graphics card and monitor (G-Force 7600 and 19 " Flat Led monitor) once I started TFD back up and after re installing it, the main ground terrain will go from normal looking to a mix of colors (back and forth). I am not sure what to check next, could my new monitor not be able to handle the graphics or what?

The monitor can display what it wants. No matter how good or how bad the graphics is your monitor will be able to display it being that the computer can run the game properly.

But wait, update your GFX card drivers. And update your DirectX.

Good luck.

To a mix of colors?

Try checking the connection is right into the graphics card, this being loose can make the screen go diff shades of color as it is not quite "in" properly

Otherwise, goto START, Click Run, type dxdiag, then check thats all upto date, also goto www.nvidia.com and get the latest driver set

perry is no more

you do this: try each one and run the game see if it fix it. if not try the next step

1st.) Start > Run> chkdsk f > press enter-key then press Y then enter key reboot system.it will scan as it bootup fix errors on the HHD

2nd.) unstill your Video card and restart system then back to desktop re-instill it back in.

still having trouble see if the other games are doing the same thing.could be the video card gone bad.

if the other games run fine and you have no trouble with them at all, then unstill DFTFD (delete the game folder totally) and re-instill it besides updating it as will

This did not work (1st.) Start > Run> chkdsk f > press enter-key then press Y then enter key reboot system.it will scan as it bootup fix errors on the HHD)
When I was in the dxdiag - I tested all test options and the first time I tried the Direct 3D acceration - I got the blue screen dumping physical memory and the PC shut down, I rebooted and tried it again and it passed all tests. I started up TFD again and the same problem. I guess I will un install the game again and try it all over. I will let you know what happens...Thanks again .

I'd suggest you borrow a friend's graphics card and see. Sure it'll be a long process installing their graphics card's drivers, etc. but still it'll be worth it.

If the problem still happens, it is not his/her graphics card or your graphics card.
If it doesn't, obviously it is your graphics card.
