Nano iPod

Nano iPod

I heard an iPod can go louder than a rock station. Never get the ones I stated as Nano. Nano ones LCD screens crack easily and are as light as 5 strips of tissue paper. I have not got an iPod. But by the looks I might give it a 6.6. And the other light as one a 4.8. Actually the .6 might do.

what is so special about paying so much for an ipod? I never understood it. Does it do anything other then play music? Like a remote car starter or something? Is it even possible to store 20gb+ of music, or even listen to that many mp3's? I have ~500 mp3's on my computer at around 2gb. Is it really true that you have to buy your songs from apple @ 99c a song? I have no idea what an ipod really does other then play music.

think it be cheaper get a Potable DVD Player small one are made now days cheaper then a Ipod, use a DVD-RW burn copy music to it then have headsets on to listing to.

i don't know about Ipod i got apple Ipod software to take Cd and change the music to Ipod music format it sound like mono not stereo at all to me.

think a Potable DVD can run USD-65.00 and up. what you going to do with 40gb of music tracks listing to them all day long crap that be like listing to a whole week of music and have to pay every time for a sound track you like to listing to. and if the Ipod go bad your out of the money and have to pay again.

sorry don't care for it at all. a good CD/Player is good for me or a DVD-RW 4.7gb is all i need to save them to or burn a Double layer DVD 8.4GB to save or use all the time.

think it nutso to spend a lot on something that is really small in size.

I've often wondered the same thing brother Panther? They look very nice but they only play music and I can play music on my hi-fi or pc so why buy an Ipod?

Warm Regards

I guess they are more for people that take really long walks. 20gb of music on a portable player just blows my mind. Just thinking about going through all that looking for a song gives me a headache. And then you got the 60gb ipod.. damn . I'd never buy an ipod simply because even after paying $0.99 a song you still can only listen to it on the ipod (from what I know.....)

the ipods are the worst mp3 players to buy as the batterys usually screw up nad the new ipods hold more than mp3's...they now hold photos as well and music videos

@ Panth you can put any tracks on it you want iirc.

----

btw i dont have an mp3 player, but i'm starting to get the urge to get one. i dont really see the problem with them but i dont have a grudge or negative vibes towards Apple like a lot of ppl do for some weird / or no reason.

they are about the same price of a portable cd player was when i was younger, which would make the cd player a lot more expensive now in equivalent price. so i wouldn't say they were that expensive.

as for space, well if you have 1gb of mp3's then it would be really stupid to get a 20+gb unit, i dont see an issue, get a sensible sized one and dont worry about other ppl or their mp3 collection lol. (fyi i have ~45gb).

all i see is a handy device that can store your entire music collection in you pocket. convenience

i think the whole point is that they are portable and can listen to them anywhere. not really something you can do with a hi-fi or pc

I got an 1G MP3 player off Ebay from Hong Kong for only £20.00 .

The only annoying problem with it is the fact it drains the battery even when switched off. (just have to remember to remove battery when not using it)

I can store about 12 albums, listen to FM radio, record voice/radio.
I can even use it as a memory stick.
I'm happy.
