switching between windows

i cant switch between windows and then back to bhd can any1 tell me why

i think to be able to do that you have to play bhd in the same resolution as your desktop

For me the problem was playing bhd in the same resolution, and having the same color bit-depth.

once I changed my bit-depth I was able to alt-tab out with no problems. (Currently, desktop is 16 bit, game 32 bit, resolution the same)


Some one else I know, that didn't work. To fix it they had to use a different resolution for the game then the desktop resolution.

have
desktop setup as 800x600 and

the game at 1024x768 when playing it,
then go to desktop by:

1.) Alt+Tab (most do it this way)
2.) Ctri+ESC
3.) Windows flag-Key + D (i use this more then any other getting to desktop)

i have my set at 32bit all the time no trouble for me.

if the game and desktop are set same screen size you never get to desktop, it lockup seating there for a long time, get back to the game Press Press Tab+Alt then select the game. then exit out of the game change the setting so it work.

i like my set at 1024x768 more refine for me and shaper image.

if you have Xfire IM you get a popup inside the game screen to chat with other without leaving the playing field, best find a safe place to chat from.

I respectfully beg to differ with your "never" statement - I run my game screen size and desktop screen size all the time. And I alt-tab out of the game all the time with out problems.

For me:

Desktop size & Game size:
1024x800 @ 32 bit color depth

= No Alt-tabing

Desktop and game screen size:

1024x800 with desktop @ 16 bit colors and game @ 32 bit colors (same screen size) = alt-tab no problems.

Not saying that changing your bit color depth will fix the problem for every one, Just pointing out that there are 2 possible fixes, and that depending on your system you could very well use the same screen resolution for both desktop and game and still alt-tab.

In other words, never say never

I CHANGED THE 32 BIT IN THE GAME TO 16 AND IT WORKED THANKN YOU VERY MUCH!
