Help With a php forum

ok, i'm trying to make a php forum...i downloaded SMF forums things...and uploaded them to my site, but when i fill in all the boxes of the install.php it says it was installed correctly...then when i go to the site i get this:

it sounds like your path info isn't correct...


verify that your path really is /home/www/novazone.freehosta.com/Forum

My guess is that the novazone.freehosts.com shouldn't be in the path.

But with out examining it in more detail its just that a guess lol

The site i got is novazone.freehostia...sticking subdomain till i get is worked out... and in the file manager its set to novazone.freehostia.com/forums/index.php when i installed it, it worked right but when i tryes using the link it gave me "freehostia.com/forums/index.php" it gave me that...

novazone.freehostia.com points to the root folder of your setup...


I think the path is messed up.

what I would try is to edit the settings.php file and look for

$boarddir

and

$sourcedir

and see what that is set to.

May need to contact your host provider and find out your exact path.
