CAN GET NAME EDITOR WORK

Hey All
I'm on Windows 2000 prof and tried to install DFLW name editor. The chars are not working..Any solutions guys??

Just type ur new name within words. Copy it into the editor and save it....

if u can find the character map in the start menu, u can use that to get eh hexed letters

Do a search for the char map. In your start menu, choose search, then type in char* and search. choose the char map that comes up and choose your letters from there. Not all charatcers work though, you have to experiment.

Most of the name editors (for some bizarre reason) use the standard windows char map integrated or bundled seperatley with the name editor itself.

This is great except that EVERYONE has char map on windows anyhow AND the char map that is bundled with most name editors is the win98se one and so wont work on ME 2000 or XP.

You don't need to search for it.
Simply click START, locate the RUN icon/option and in the field type CHARMAP.

It will run automatically.

It is also located in the START menu.
Start > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map
