My car was stolen and set on fire!!!!

Some of you may have noticed I wasn't about much on these forums over the past 48 hours or so, to those of you waiting for a reply of me I can only apologise for being tardy with a reply. The reason is below.

Two days ago whilst I was in our local shopping mall some low life bastard stole my car, drove it off to a town about 6 miles away, dumped it and then set it on fire completely destroying it!

Despite having both a car alarm and crook lock my Mitsubishi Colt GLS was taken from the car park of ths shopping mall by some scumbag presumably because they thought it might be "fun" to bugger someone around and someone I may add who has quite bad arthritis, (me!) and needs the car to get around!


I even have (or had!) a "disability" sticker in my windscreen but this didn't stop our felon who just had to do it for what ever reason these people have to do what they do!

I now have to wait for my insurance company to cough up the money for a replacement car and it looks like I will lose all my "no claims" bonus to boot!

Personnaly I would love to find the invidual concerned and beat the living s**t out of this son of a bitch but then in thsi country if you protect yourself or your property....you get arrested!!!!

Arrested or not BADDOG, If that happened to me and I found the guy... well... I think I would be able to claim insanity in court. At least choke him till he coughs up the dough..

Thx guys and as a matter of interest I had a phone call from the police this morning and the very sympathetic police sergeant I spoke to to informed me that mine was the 25th car stoled from the shopping centre car park!

This car park has CCTV and is regularly patrolled by security staff but this proved no deterrent to the bastard who stole my car and obvioulsy not to the other bastards who have taken other peoples cars!

This proves one thing to me, these vermin don't care if they get caught because at worst the might be jailed for a few months and if not they might get a "community order" against them.

The bastards don't care so perhaps we should copy the Saudi Arabians and cut their bloody hands off when they steal!

Sorry to hear it BADDOG. That's just so stupid how you get punished for your car getting stolen. It's not your fault, you had an alarm and theft deterrent, so why should you get charged? It makes me sick...

Perhaps you can change insurance companies before renewal time?

That is so unfair, it wasn't your fault that that moron killed your car.
At least you have "collision" insurance. With my insurance it only covers me if I hit someone else, my insurance will pay for the damage to the other person's car not mine.
Guess that is what you get for having crappy cars
