exp dilema

as u all probably know by now,when u download the new exp pack 4 delta and unzip it, u rather unpleasantly find there is a dll file missing preventing u from installing it.well u can imagine how brassed of i was after downloading it 3 times (yes 3 bloody times) to find the same dll file missimg every time (i only have 56k).now ive heard of a replacement file u can get but never actually come across it,but all is not lost,if u r lucky enough 2 own a copy of the lovelly looking XP then the patch works perfectly.but this is not good enough, i want it 2 work on 98 so if any body has a solution i would be very grateful.........thanks guys

um... ithink when ur missing a .dll file, it means u have to reinstall directx. quicktime, realplay, or something like that. i dont think its related to a missing downloaded file. i had the same problem when i downloaded the demo for Ghostr Recon, but afetr reinstalling DX, it worked fine. Hope that helps...

i will give it a try m8 thank u,but im not the only 1 who has had the prob,from what i hear its quite a few peaple that have experianced the problem of a mising dll file.but thank u 4 taking the time 2 reply m8 cheers

you downloaded the DF2 EXP pack.. i did the same and thats the error i got.. go to http://www.df-hq.com and go to the utilities section then download the LW EXP pack.
