I have just installed sp2(dont say a word!!)
Thought everything was ok until I tried to play bhd ts online
It lets me choose the server
conntacts the host then locks up..............
WHAT HAVE I DONE
I cannot survive without my BHD
Shoot me now and put me out of my missery


Any ideas peeps???

its possible that it works like nortons which im familiar with,and you would have to go into it and disengage the firewall for specific programs you dont want blocked out

i also installed sp2 and if i have this prob and figure it out ill post what the dealio is...

Think I sussed it manually added permission on NIS2003 to allow it to connect..............
SP2 must have changed summit

ok with sp2 it should when u first run a program over the internet ask if u want to block or let a program be accesable

if yours is not doin this i suggest goin to start/program /accesories/system tools/security center

this is were u will find what this update is all about,then if your having connection problems you will need to go into the firewall portion and to the exceptions tab were u can view all programs locked or unlocked and the options to make accesible or not any program hooking up to the internet.

hope this gets you on the way to having hair again

SP2, mine got to 66% then crashed pc, re booted to a blue screen saying "unmountable disk volume" thank god for Power Quest Drive Image"

yea over the weekend a lot of bad internet activity happend, but from all the SP2 stories i think i will pass, i now have a hard drive (10gig) i use for back up files incase of a total messup

there are items in service pack 2.
its will ask to let dfbhd.exe enable to connect to the internet.

this is easy to setup.
1.) start>control panel>Windows firewall>Exceptions tap>Add Programs (click-on it add the game or a program to the listing then lookup it find dfbhd.exe or what one you looking for.

when the new windows pop-up see a listing of application then put a check mark into the box next to it click-ok, if you don't see it listed use the "browser" button then look it up the item you like to add when finish click-on ok.
