can you import other peoples maps into mission editor ?

Hello ,And thanks in advance for your time . i am new to map making and am wondering if it is possible to import other peoples maps into mission editor / I play death match and host a server /the reason i ask this is there are so many great TDM maps Thats are not formatted for DM and i was wondering how / or if its possible to make them play on DM ??????

the only thing is please don't make changes to a map then call it your own not right at all. i alway leave the name of the maker be i update to the way i like it to work. some times i see a good thing i like to see how they did it the setting or copy and past a item into a new map i made up.

you can make changes to the setting you only have to do is put a check mark into Deathmatch (DM) and you can leave the check mark in TeamDeath match (TDM) too. will not harm it at all.
