anyone know if this film has multiple endings?

ive seen it 3 times and i'm convinced the first time i saw it there was no fishing boat at the end and i was pretty annoyed that that film was just left like that, where she was just on her own in the boat at the end.

after it went off tonight i mentioned it to my mates that i'm sure ive seen the end and there was to fishing boat that picks her up. and one of my mates thinks that was how it was when he first saw it.



anyone seen it? what happened at the end??
