do steam delete accounts?

with my 9800XT 3 years ago i got a free pass to steam - allowed me to get all games free that came out including HL2, i forgot my pass so i filled out the form and entered every email addy i have had in the last 3 years, but the email hasnt came back from them

i dont think they get deleted unless you are banned. i logged into mine last year after a couple of years of not using it.

Indeed, they do not delete it. They would get a load of complaints then, because people purchased games on that ID..

i had the same thing with my 9800xt, until i had a little to much fun with a little program called "autoaim" .. that ended after a few days ...

Well I am totally against cheats ect, But I thought What have I done? I re-installed my old HL1,DOD,CS ect then tried loggin into my account just to have it say sorry your acount is suspended. After getting intouch with them they did sort it by re-activating my account. I had to send them scanned copies of the manual and the CD Key No.

I think they do somthing to Inactive accounts as this has now happend twice. I havent re-installed HL 2, dod:s ect for around a year so I will re-install it see if I have the same problems.

Dont help you much though BB I know.
