DFLW no cd patch

Hope somebody can help me...

I can't get the no cd patch to work for dflw!
I have followed the instructions, have the latest update, etc.
Still doesn't work, it asks for the cd in another language like spanish or somethin!

Help if you can, thanks.

well i have looked for a cd key for people i know that either lost there or they like dont got one duh?!?!?!?!

<li>Install the No CD Crack into your DF Folder.</li>

Dont know if this helps. But with Windows XP when I install the No CD crack. It takes a couple of times trying to open the game before it works. I get the message to insert the cd into the cd rom. I just keep clicking ok finally it goes ahead and works. but then I dont have to do it again. Windows XP doesnt like these No CD Cracks.

Also are you sure you have downloaded it from a good site. Not from some generic site cause then you dont know what u have.

Well since this is a DF website I really don't want to have cracks for the game around. BUT if ya looked at the front page where it sais FTP server you might find somthin, the only thing you wont find is cracks or serials for DFLW. Its only 10 bucks anyways. and if your nice mabee i'll put all my stuff up there . No thats not all of it guys. The big ones arent up for DL

I use the nocd cracks for anygame even if I have the CD. Games load faster and you can save the CD from getting all scratched and stuff .

And so you dont have to fumble for the cd everytime u change a game. That sucks.

Hey a lot of things struggle to run in Windows XP, only because it's a new O/S by Windows, in time they will update things and given about 28-24 months they will release the *final* Windows XP, I know it's a pain in the arse, I could run everything on it except DFLW which pi**ed me off so I un-installed it because the terrain maps were all messed up, I did all sorts updated drivers etc but all failed......Also as DeDrage said: "make sure you got it from a trusty site" as some sites are sneaky and infect the files to have fun at your expense, ensure any files from any site wheather you trust them or not, are put through a virus check.....Files as small as 1byte can ruin you system....

Sorry on more thing..."You just take it from the ZIP file and right click on it and do COPY then go to ur "DFLW Folder" and right click any where on the page just not on any files but just in the blank part and right click and hit "PASTE" and it will ask you if you wanna replace blah with blah just click "YES", And it should not mess up anything like he said above the file might have had a Virus in it but if you download it from that site ABove i gave you it should not mess you up becuase I am using the one off that site from the exact place I gave you. So hope that help a little!...

Sorry one more thing, You will also need to update the game if you hav'nt already you need to update to: "v1.00.31" And you need to get the exsact No CD Crack for Version of DFLW like on the site I gave you if you goto the second page it will have the one for "v1.00.31" and you need to download that one but remeber to Update your game first..lol...Sorry for postin so much just trin to help!....

you updated DF: Landwarror to? version 1.00.9

tip when add-in a n-cd patch rename the normal one first or back it up in a safe place copy & past it into a save folder some place or zip it up like i do.

1.) copy the normal one first.
2.) unzip the No-Cd patch into the folder.
3.) rename it from: dflw.exe to dflw_nocd,exe
4.) get the normal stander dflw.exe you save and put it back in to the game folder.

make a shortcut to desktop for both of them.

now when you like to play stats use the normal one, and outside stats public/password area use the No-Cd Patch one "dflw_nocd.exe

you can have more then one .exe inside the folder without error. keep in mind if you use the no-cd patch don't go into novaworld stats servers you be banned for use of it.

I reinstalled the CD
I unzipped the file that I downloaded from the "safe site" and then replaced the two unzipped dflw files in the Novalogic program file.
I updated the game
I could not access the full game, so I once again copied the unzipped files to the program file
I was able to access the full game as when using the CD; however, when I selected the game link where I wanted to join, the system seemed to freeze and would not roll over
I am able to exit out, but it will not go pass the loading screen
I tried other game links and I got the same result
Any suggestions?
