Joint Operations Demo Upddate

The update for Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising beta demo update (0.0.15.14) is finally here.

Build Notes:

Fixed Muzzle flashes
Removed tracers from MP5
Fixed missing friendly tags
Added support for 16x9 aspect ratio monitors
New ground physics
New recoil system
Can now fire while swimming but take a larger recoil
Reduced armory timer to 30 seconds
Commanders map has more functionality
New helicopter flight model
New video test
No longer support cards without T&L.
New player info screen
In game options screen now works.
People get credit from blast radius weapons.
Falling from a great distance will now kill the players
Flying into objects will destroy the helicopters.
Fixed a problem regarding the floating husks
Greater stability for 100 player servers.
Fixed bug with clouds not displaying on certain video cards.

Klick on the "update game" button in your menu, next to "Joint Operations" to update.

I think the udate is great - It added wonderful flying physics that make it feel more real but omg i have the tie-die terrain, too! that is apparantly because "they do not support video cards without Transform & lighting"

I think the update is much better.... The coppers are more easyer target's now.... That's cool... You realy need a bit of training to fly a chopper between the mountains or trees. I hope they make it even harder... It is still possible to take a Black Hawk... And land it in the middle of a hotzone... Jump out and start killing... I can't see something like that happening in real-life war....

i seen the same thing the sand banks near the water line look funny blue/green/brown in color rest of the map look ok only the sandy areas near the water i seen look funny.

remember its a highly demending game for your GFX card and processor

I just got a brand new Card installed.... And even on my PC It looks like the area was used for a paintball match. Here and there are green/red/yellow spots.... At first it looked like it should be there, but nobody saw them but me...

Believe me...its not only you. I think what 3 of us here have seen it? before the update it was fine and from them saying stuff about the transform & lighting, it sounds like they planned this to happen...why not leave well enough alone? and believe me, its not my card overheating lol

Ok so what card should i get? ATi or nVidia? i have heard of major problems with ati cards and i will not deal with rainbow terrain with a new video card...what should i do?
