Need Help With Map Making!
Hey guys:
I am wondering if someone can explain me how u put water in ur maps... cause when I put water in my map... (even when I put it on 1) I cant swim to above and always die!... even when I put the spawn point 100 meters higher... :S Ty for helping.... |

lol a new question: when I use an "Concrete slab" and go to "edit item attributes" and put the pitch up to 90 (degrees) then I can't rotate it anymore cause then it goes roll... do u guys have the same problem? |

Yes i do but i know there has to be a way to fix that unless the people i saw make the map had NILE cause ive seen some maps for DFX where they rotated the walls! Dont think they did it either by feeling in the heading box!
ON bhd its easy but for DFX seems stupid how it wont!

Thanks for thinking of me Visor..
I've been looking into this, and it's strange, but, very similar to what happens with the DFLW med.. It was very hard to build custom buildings, cos, what you saw in the med, wasn't what was showed when you run the map in game. I made a test map, and did what you said, placed 2 slabs, set them at 90 pitch. I group rotated them, and they seemed to rotate as if they where still laying flat...but.. When I ran the map, they where actually rotated where I set them.. Then I selected both slabs, and went to wire frame, and the pieces where actually showing the correct rotation.. So, even though they don't look rotated in the normal 2d mode, when selected and looked at in the wire frame, they are..your going to have to use the wire frame a lot, and get used to the 2d view looking rather strange.. It's not going to be easy to use the slabs, but it is possible.. EE
