windows vista.. so far

my laptop is running vista home premium..

pros -

easy to set up just about everything, wireless networks etc

the theme is amazing, especially the way u can push alt and tab and scroll thru windows in a 3d browser

very fast, nearly everything is instant

cons -

drivers - complete pain in the ass to find them

regular crashes - some windows services like to randomly crash out

UAC - its a pain in the ass but its important to keep on

completely different format in control panel..takes awhile 2 get used to

any1 else using it? share ur experiences

I heard that the 3d window scroller is available in Home premium onwards?, might not be the biggest factor, but I won't be getting it.
I suppose it will take a while to work out the kinks, I'm sure XP had some problems when it first came out, but compatablilty issues with older games worry me, but it's good for work, just save regularly.

TBH I'd wait for Windows XP SP3 coming out sometime this year. Might bring some news things in.

funny to think it almost the same theme as Mac computers system are.

if you never use a Mac OS? after using Windows Vista you can handle a Mac real easy no braner, they are almost have the same theme options to use in both.
