Anyone messed with this?
Microsoft is putting out a program that is supposed to be able to do what photoshop does. It is called Acryllic and is in Beta right now. Anyone use it yet?

They totally ripped photoshop. You can tell it way bad. I still like photoshop better, acryllic is to awkward.

why bother when u got PS ? ... if its beta then its like wors than PS 6 .. and u need to learn the basics in there, maybe not the same "controls" as in PS .. so no tnx stickin with PS

When this is realeased, adobe will look at this program, and cs3 will be much more powerful, to be honest, you have to trust someone like adobe with their digital technology, they've realeased plentey of programs to know that they can beat little old mr.gates.

Microsoft is a piece of crap company, always trying to put someone out of business.

I honestly wasn't impressed. From what I saw it did not have as many functions as PS.

it may be because it is a beta but I don't think that the industry standard (photoshop) is going to suffer because it is sooooooo widely used.

I honestly thing Photoshop will always be #1. But, i'll be the gunnie pig for you guys to download Acryllic and try it out
