Personally I think Nova's doing a good job on all this stuff. I mean, there's still noobs and dumbazzes on NW2 forums lol, but the site's shaping up good.

And as you've read, you'll have to pay for gold membership if you want way more features. This is kinda actually a good thing as I doubt many hacks (if any at all) would want to pay for gold membership.

Argghhh damnit sorry for the third reply (lol call me a spammer all you want ). Just wanted to share this quote:

Running a completely free online service and continuing to host games that are up to 10 years old makes it impossible to spend money on (a) reducing cheaters (b) making updates (c) having staff jump into games to monitor (c) improve bandwidth, reduce lag etc.

gold membership is a paid item, but you buy the "Delta Force 10th Anniversary Collection by February 28th 2009 its a freebie for a year as a gold membership you get extra with it...

hey... i did it i got 10 anaversery and it let me add the key ...the old nw wouldnt let you add more than one key per title also i fould a comparison between basic and gold accounts but NO upgrade option
and no comparison between gold and the offer here i forget the name i think its vip dont remember though thats way up in the clouds i mean thread...got a copy on online and found out its a friggin dvd so i went to best buy and got a backup so i could register in time and have a DVD back up...the backup on dvd was for me extreamly paramount... i am dissapointed there was not a " install all option ...you must pic n choose... bhd required for nova world 2 up grade...its now based on fileplanet type subscription but if you buy games you get upgrades free ...and they expire but whats offered is worth it... and its cheap....

sorry you feel that way but its the standard now and its cheap these web sites cost money and no cash flow puts a stopper in that... besides well worth it and in some instances you buy a game its free and after a year it expires so what you may have to only buy the sevice once unless a new title comes out then its free if you buy the game...with development coming every 2 to 3 years and little quickies like dfx as cash flow producks every1.5 to 2 years staggered you wont have to but website access that often so get real buy the game even if you have them there will allways be some benefit like its all on one dvd stuff like that.. please hthink about what i said here and im sure you will have a change of heart or opinion......bsf

From what I have seen, you only have to subscribe if you want the advanced features.

For example, to register you squad with novaworld2 or to join a registered novaworld2 squad you have to be a gold member.

If you don't want to register your squad or join a registered squad and don't care about all the other GOLD member stuff then you don't have to pay to play.

I haven't seen any where any indication that you will have to subscribe just to play on novaworld.

And if you add your DF10 keys and you get a "You already have a key for this game" error or similiar, ignore it. EvilMaker said you're able to add multiple keys for the DF games, so ignore any error you see from adding them.

Well Nova aren't gonna charge you to play in their games. They're only offering a price for more features in their forums, etc.

do you have to add all the keys or just the bhd key from the 10th anniversary pack??

well its good to get several 10th anniversary packs for backup and plus all the games are on 0ne single DVD how convenient is that....
