42 new tfd maps

DevilDog has reviewed 42 new maps (Actually about 150 but only 42 will be posted today). You can get them under the headlines. About 80 maps will be posted tomorrow when I aint so tired. I would just like to thank DD for his hard work for dfhq in the last few weeks.

LMAO Ian M you are that Zza1pqx guy And Devildog1 m8 you must have been very very busy didnt think i gave you that much time to sort maps out with all that help I have had off you.Yep I think you need a raise 2 But if you dont get your raise hey thanx for all your help m8

I just want to know if the map of the week is going to be map of the week again. I am not going to submit any more maps until it gets on a regular schedule. I hate my maps competing for each other week after week, and only to find out, the map of the week , is map of the month, or map of the moment, or map of when ever i get time to post the thing. Then one of them gets map of the week, while the others get 4 or 5 stars, and if the motw was more in a timely fashion I would have had many more . If your not going to make map of week a consistant project, it should be removed, and not held as a competion.
I do not know how you other guys feel. But if I put 8 to 12 hours in a very special map. It deserves to be judged in a much better way than it has the last year or so i have been submitting maps.

First of all thanks taking time and giving us a candid and detailed feedback.

Now, about the MOTW and MOTY issue. Currently, we @ DFHQ.NET are in the process of improving the way this competition takes places; and it's people like yourself who provide us with candid and concrete feedback, so we can better the service we provide here. Thus, making the map making and map playing experience a more enjoyable one for everyone. Hence, enriching the DF Community as a whole.

As you might have noticed in the Map Editing section, I posted a note to all map makers, highlighting some suggestions. That's one of the directions we would like to proceed in, and, therefore, require your assistance.
