Blood
What's a good way to add realistic looking blood to an image? Please note that I'm using Photo Impact, which is like PhotShop, but doesn't have as many features, so nothing that requires anything specific to Photoshop.

if it has a pen tool make a little "sploch" with it then mess with the blending options in that program ( dont no if there called that)
i think theres a nub way of doing it with filters too...lol

Photoimpact version 7 and 8,both have a shapes pallette and a tool which is pretty much the same as a pen tool.
Also, many filters that work with Adobe also will work in Photoimpact.
