Wow, so you're pretty much stuck doing whatever you're trained in, no matter what. Here you can do whatever, whenever. If an electrician here decides he wants to be a pilot, he just gets his license, and he can do it. Doesn't mean he's hired, but he's got the chance.

Just because you want to make airplanes doesn't mean you'll get hired It's completely up to the employer who gets hired...

I ment that an uneducated electrician can't work as one, or they can but prison is probebly not that nice. Its because of the strickt laws (Electricians have their own law book plus the normal one) its just for saftey reasons. I can be what ever I want, just need to put some time into it and a bit money, so you can be whatever you want aslong as your educated

Electrician is basicly the strictest profession in Sweden with all the laws and regulations. The test i was talking about is a test on saftey and laws, its retaken atleast every 3rd year to keep your job/profession

Same as America, can be a crane operator without any knowlage but you wouldn't get any jobs lol

Electrician is on the other hand a bit special

Thing is education, you can be trained in anything. For example if I was an electrician and I decided to become a pilot I would have to get all the flight hours and training, then I could get hired as a pilot.

If I had the same flight history as another guy but I also had electrical training...who do you think would get hired first?

Not hard at all (tricky but not hard), you should try it. Althought the programing cards (dont need it but it will save you some work) are around $110 the microprosessor it self is around $10

Well I lost all my code to my ping (distance mesuring "card") so i will have to redo it and considering that i have no idea how i did it, it'll take some time. I moved on however, still doing the same project but im focusing my energy on the visual part, ie the lights.

Just ordered 10 RGB (yeah red green and blue, can produce 16 million shades of color) LEDs that I will control with atmel atmega 16

Have done the basics (this time I will be backing up all the files lol) which will control the fade using PWM (Pulse Width Modulator) basicly lights the LED and then shuts it off very quickly to decrease the power output to the LED (the higher the number in PWM the stronger its lit and the lower the number the less its lit)

Did this using a two normal red LEDs and two normal dreen LEDs and are now fading in and out in a secuense on the computer desk, can make a film of it if someone wants to see it, looks pretty (the light, theres some wiring so its not pretty in that sense)
