Russia suffers very cold spell!

There are some cool, (excuse the pun!), pics here of the very cold weather conditions in Russia at the moment and some of them are a little disturbing regarding homeless people in these temperatures!

i heard on the news that it is so cold there that if there eyes water then it heals over their eyes and when they breath out the cold air it crystalizes

yea saw this on the news last night... and to think we moan about the cold in the uk!

Have gone on a bike ride in -35 C and its freezing, longjohns is a requirement. Good thing was that after about 30 min i was inside in a bit warmer school, forsome reason they had turned off the heat but was still warmer then outside heh

And the breath starts to crystalize at around -7 C

-15 outside today The sound of walking on snow in those temps and below is lovly, qurking sound (for those who havent heared it heh)

Had ice in my mustach yesterday as my breath froze to ice in my mustach hehe

My mother had to go and do number 1 and two outside at temps down to -45 C hehe, damn that got to be cold sitting on a pice of wood thats basicly -40 C with a bare butt
