Bad News For Baddog:(!

This morning I recieved some very bad news regarding my arthritis and back problems. As some of you will know I was due to go over to America in August of this year to have a long holiday with friends I've met via Delta Force and to trace my Fathers family as he was an American.

I've been told by my surgeon that the only available time he will have to operate on my spine wil be in August as his schedule is far to busy between now and then and after August to fit me in for surgery. So we've had to cancel our trip to the States indefinitely as after this surgery I will be imobile for up to 6 weeks!

It has to be done as the vertabrae in my lower spine are crumbling, (sounds painful and it is!), so with out this surgery I may eventually become wheel chair bound. So it seems I have no bloody choice in the matter and as I'm sure most of you will agree, my healh is far more important than this trip but it's a body blow to me as I was very much looking forward to being in America with my wife and daughter.

I know it could be worse and I could be suffering a far worse problem/disease than that which I have but it's really pissed me off as you can imagine.

So in closing take my advice, if you have an opportunity to do something then do it as soon as you can because you never know what's around the corner and what life may thorw at you!

Baddog i do know how it feel, good luck wish the best for you.

i have a disk it slips in and out a lot, i find i can't even walk for 3-5 days at a time when it's out. pain in super high mod. turning side to side so on even laying down. it some times even take my breath away.

best way i can say it feel like a rusty tree saw some one using on my back it a real pain, i had no sex do to this started in 2000 to scare to try it. don't wish to have the pain

Sorry to hear that bro.

I had back problems sometime in August...that was the most painful thing I had to go through. I could not move for like 3 days. Luckily it went away after about a week. I think I pulled a muscle or something back there and it tensed up.

Well I hope the surgery goes well and you are back on your feet as soon as possible, and you can make that trip to the states!
By the way, did you play any sports when you were younger?

Sorry to hear it Baddog. I hope and pray that the surgery will solve your back pain, just as mine did. Hurt like a mofo for a month, but that beats living in pain for life. Come over here when you can

Thanks score and Dr Bullet I will come over as soon as this problem is sorted out as it's been my life time dream to visit America.

I did play quite a few sports when I was younger Score and I was into dirt biking in a big way and of course I had quite a few tumbles during my bike days so this may be a result of that.

yeah I am good now.

I used to work at the Salt Lake International Airport and they have a HUGE parking lot that you have to rid a bus to your car. Anywho, I decided to jog to my car so I started doing that regularly. I think I stepped in a pot hole or something.

I hope yours gets cleared up. It sucks having your back messed up!!!

That Suxs BadDog I know i am having Back pains At this verymoment and it is in my lower back (probally from leaning over the keyboard to much to try and type to people on DF :P) i have had this problem for 3 days now i just hope it doesn't Stay. at least i can walk perfectly once i acctually am able to stand my back holds in for a long time i just hope my back isn't going to Die on me you know and i am only 14 turning 15 in August! While i am having My B-Day Party i know my Wish already to let your opperation be a succesful one.
