Angry son of a.

ok today i was gona tar the garage roof to stop a leak, well more of a water fall, and i went to the shed, there are 2 buckets of asphalt grade tar they have been sitting there for years so without thinking i just grab and yank the top bucket off of the bottom bucket and 1 bucket had leaked on the bottom bucketso i end up tearing a hole in the top bucket big enough to stick ya head in, a full bucket of tar wooshes out on the floor and my feet, i had to get another bucket and scrape the tar off the floor and put it in the plastic pale.

now i have a big tary spot that i have o cover with sand and some nice 140$ water proof boots in black.

grrrrrr, lol.

get some spirit oil and some rags.

as for your boot use gas to clean them off with, then wash them with Pine-sol 3-cups of it into bucket of water (small trash can will work as will) then let it stay in there over night then wash them off next day.

we do this all the time with Oliy clothing work great, mostly we use 1/2 of the bottle into a washer or a small bucket

keep in mind wash them again 2-3x more with plain soap to get the smell out

We just finished doing a roof and had to use some tar for sealing.... I don't know how it would work with your boots, but wd-40 cleaned up our hands and putty knives very well.

Indeed.

Man... once, when me and my two friends were walking along the road, the tar had all melted, and we were drawing words with sticks on the road lol, and I thought what would happen if I touched the tar with my fingers... and I had a feeling that the tar would stick onto it, and it would be painful to get it off... heh.
