The first tape I stole from my big brother when I was a kid Van Halen 1984, lol. Is that classic rock? heh

Yea man, I've listened to all of that over the years. When I was in the Corps I tuned in all the time to get pumped up. My squad would meet at my room and gather around while we jammed out and got the blood flowing, of course before we were briefed and went over details of what we had to do for the day, week, month or year, heh.

You mean get pumped for a fight or just get pumped?

Well nothing beats Metallica...I got something like 8 hours of it. Plus another 7 hours of other music. Rage Against the Machine, Pantera, Offspring, Breed 77, Slipknot...but mostly Metallica. Good ol Metallica eh Troj?

Depends on what I'm pumping up for.

"Renegades of Funk" by Rage Against the Machine is one of my faves. "Bodies" by Drowning Pool is another.

If I'm about to have some fun, I like stuff like the theme song from Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (check it out...it rocks ).

I'v loved greenday much before american idiot was released, since it was, they have been given a figure that doesnt match them, it couldnt of been helped, it might of been because they're style of music has moved on beyond the rest of their previous albums, greenday are best kept punk instead of pop. I hope if they realease a new album, it should be back to their punk roots, look at the offspring, they're getting old like the greenday members, but sticking to what their real fans like.

the problem is that they've now fully mixed in politics in a wider display of things. I think it's dumb. Music just shouldn't be about politics...I don't know green day was better before.
