and the poor fools that bought it this is funny...

Um... yeah, that's a bit too overpriced, LOL.

Even when you do consider the fact that the most common PC back then was like Commodores, Amigas, Mac's, etc.

I think the highest price for them was no more than $500?

(But I don't know off-hand, I was only 2 years old at the time, Lol!)

i remember seeing one of these at a local radio shack
and it had an $8500 price tag so i wnt with a radioshack color
computer with 2 daisy chained external 5 1/4 floppy drives

Lol, my first computer was a Commodor. Only ran in DOS! Had a Matrix dot printer and a floppy disk drive ( the floppy disk was REALLY a floppy disk).

Lol, at the time I thought it couldn't get any better than that !

Now why the hell would anybody want to explode a head? You can do that easily by forcing people to read all the books in the Congressional library in one week.
