how do you create progressive spawn points in the map editor?

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT THIS AND HOW TO FIND AND PLACE GERNADE LAUNCHERS. I NOTICED ON THIS POST AND THE ONE ABOUT GUN PLACEMENTS NO ONE IS POSTING A REPLY. IF IT IS SOMETHING WE CAN'T DO, ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO OR NEED A SPECIAL TOOL TO DO, COULD SOMEONE AT LEAST LET US KNOW. THANKS MUCHO MUCHO, BLT

[Gun Hog]

Gun Hog here, and I have figured out how to place spawn points and guns, But it is not the "right" way, but I will tell you how. First, you Get a map that has spawn points and guns already in it. (like City Limits) You can use a bms. to mis. converter to edit a map. Once you do that, Look carefully at the map (search the map by playing it if you can't find a gun or spawn point) The gun or PSP will look like a barrel.(Maybe it's a flaw) Select it (Will turn yellow) and right-click. A menu will appear. select "cut" and the gun (or PSP) should be gone. Open a new map (The map where the item should be put) But DO NOT SAVE OR YOU WILL CHANGE THE MAP! Now that your map is open, right-click. Select "paste" from this menu. The item should be following your mouse. place the gun (or PSP) where you want it. (Will still look like a barrel) To change it to another gun type select it and right-click. click "Edit Item attributes." Under "subtype" change your gun to whatever you want it to be. click "OK" now save and export your map, pack it, and play it to see you new gun or PSP. NOTE: Guns are "objects" in the med, if you can, go to insert mode (press "Insert" on the keyboard) and select object. If you can, the guns should be there. If you can't follow the steps above.

you can also downlaos a file callded BHD items it has a map in there you can use to view just items like a burning barrel and psp, grenade launcher an mini gun all i do is open it and copy it then close it DONT SAVE open the map i'm working on then paste it from ther you can copy and paste as many as you want dont for get to check you levels if you copy and paste one underground you'll end up with all of them underground lol anyway hope this helps as well .....Malibu
