John Michael Sullivan RIP

For all of you who didnt hear of the soldier from my area, he was killed on December 30th when a bomb exploded by his humvee. He was a well known soldier to this area I can tell by all of the people I heard who attended the funeral.People were waiting on the roadways with Flags as I drove by and I wondered why but then when I heard of the Soldier who died it explained it.

Im not sure if I ever knew him, but the name sounds familar and if im not mistaken, I think I was in my freshman year at SDHS when he graduated.I am now in my last year!Although even if I didnt I keep him in memory for his courage and honor of fighting for out country.

His death was a big shock because of he was not suppose to even be where he was at the time. The stories I read said he was filling in for a sick friend of his or something, and was not due back to his post or whever till January 10th.

Anyways I posted this for any of the people on here who are from my area or may of known him even.

His wife posted a video in memory of her husband which I am going to post a link to in case anyone wants to view it in case they knew him or would just like to see it, in memory of one of our boys over in Iraq!

Oh I live in Chattanooga Tennessee and the soldier was from Middle Valley which is not far like 10 minutes away from me.His funeral was in Soddy Daisy I think which is about 10 minutes or 15 from here.

The ROTC at my school, Soddy Daisy High is collecting donations for his family.

I think from what I heard since he was not even suppose to be on duty at the time, I think he was buried for free my parents said!

People were talking about him today and some say the funeral had tons of motorcycles and cars showing up for the funeral when it was coming to the funeral home. There were so many people from what I heard I bet some had to park down the road and accross the street!

Yeah lol.

To be honest, we live right next to the church. And some stupid people spazz out just 'cause we ask them to get the eff off our driveway! Who the hell would park in front of the gate? And they never seem to park down the road going downhill... Too scared the handbrake won't work?

Anyways RIP American soldier.

Chris
