Does anyone know what function have the .SCR files that the tool 'open Mission SCR' creates in dfxMEd or dfx2med?

And thank you very much Wiliam, the .SCR files are screen dialog files, not used since about BHD days, an early and very efficent way of lining up your audio to match the gameplay, these days mappers use the very crude .wac to line up the wavs, including the dialog and special effects.
Dave 62, has spent months many many months stripping out the files, listing them, so can be used easily in the .wac
have a look around for his site.

note: there are many to many items as you may see that are either dead or heading that way, leftovers from what was a great game/art...good luck

???

You can get exactly the same DFXMed 2.60 in DFX and DFX2, the Med comes with both games so you shouldn't need to search for it... just look inside the main folder of either game for dfxmed.exe or dfx2med.exe.

:Just In Case:
Get fixed Med Items here. http://www.novahq.net/?show=utilitie...et_file&id=377

A JO Med That may work http://www.novahq.net/?show=utilitie...et_file&id=308

This is the old style mission editer take from Delta Force Xtreme to work with Joint Opeations TR and E. Author: Eagle_Eye

Just dropped by ... but you can also download the DFX:MED for both the DFX 1&2 from my website.

http://home.comcast.net/~dthomas118853/DFXMED.htm

Or my full DFX homepage will be at: http://home.comcast.net/~dthomas118853/index.htm

Btw, thinking about removing my website tools for the DFX series of games. I know it has helped alot of people with DFX 1 & 2. But since Novalogic has gone dead with no new games and the Delta Force Xtreme series have ended. I believe the usefullness of my website for the DFX series of games has also ended.

If you think I should continue my website help for DFX 1&2 then let me know. Otherwize in a few days I will delete my NOVALOGIC DFX help website.

Well there were several MEd downloads in the NHQ DB but they seem to have been made redundant.

The links to them appear to be gone so your site may now be a rare resource.

I think you should continue until an official ending is announced Dave.

I may have said before that there's a fully capable editor in both DFX and DFX2 but your site has much more than that.

Thanks Stompem,

I do get some rare and infrequent requests about mapping and map linking. So I may keep it up for awhile (but not for long cause there is other need for my site) so I will wait for a few more days before I remove it.

Btw, I have colleted alot of gun scopes sights, Ammo and camo (with the help of skinneykiller) for both DFX 1 & 2. If SkinneyKiller would agree then I would release them.

EDIT:
Seems reasonable whatever you decide to do Dave and personally I have no need for the info anymore but if it wasn't for you I'd know a lot less about editing at this stage so thanks for that.

Thanks Stomp!

My website was cleaned of all info except for a Referral to visit here at NovaHQ for mapping help!

I've just simply lost interest in DFX and in mapping but I may still at times stop by here just to say hi.
