DIALOGS - Tapping into dialogs without extra files
Here's an interesting aspect of the game that allows you to tap into dialogs and call normally hidden functions.
You can use your own bin and wac etc to override any or all of the internal commands. Simply rename any bms to one of these and see what happens - when you open your map in the editor, all the objectives will have changed, this will be according to the map name selected from below. Dialogs and other normally hidden attributes will become available in the events section of the MEd. Use these names for Single Player (or COOP if you have the COOP Me Now exe) SPBHD_00.bms SPBHD_01.bms SPBHD_02.bms SPBHD_03.bms SPBHD_04.bms missing SPBHD_06.bms missing SPBHD_08.bms missing SPBHD_10.bms SPBHD_11.bms missing SPBHD_13.bms SPBHD_14.bms SPBHD_15.bms SPBHD_16.bms SPBHD_17.bms SPBHD_18.bms SPBHD_19.bms SPBHD_20.bms |

Clarify Open your map in the editor and save it as one of the map names above. Your mission file must be renamed if you want to edit it and see the functions but you can save it as another name to keep a record. Example: To edit SPBHD_16.mis save as SPBHD_16.bms To keep a record MyMapSPBHD_16.mis save as MyMapSPBHD_16.bms |
