Lan problems

okay i have just brought the game. i relaize im lagging behind a bit but i have BHD and saw this on the shelf and after loving landwarrior had to get it for fun at work.

anyway i have loaded the game on two computers. then i have updated both pcs to v1.09, then i have patche them with the 8 player no cd patch.

the two computers are connceted via lan definately.

i run the game create a hosted game i can run around and play the game fine. i then run the second computer find the hosted game from the other machine and join in. this is where it goes wrong the second computer hangs on the (loading mission from server)

that as far as i gets. i have even tried joing the sever from the same machine that is hosting the game and still no go.

so any ideas anyone please. i just cant seem to work out why. i cant find the hosted game. connect to it and evrything seems fine but then it just hangs there.

same thing here m8, we have a 4way lan here and basically one of the computers cannot host at all, but the others can. cant seem to find out why this computer cannot host.

when any of the other computers host the other players can take upto 5 or 10 + minutes to load the game!!! (pauses on loading).

i would suggest trying both machines hosting, ane leaving it for as long as possible before giving up.

i setup the network here and every PC has the same settings, really puzzling.

If possible post the server on Novaworld vice using the Lan setting in the game. If you are using a Linksys modem/router, only use the DMZ host and insert the Ip address of the computer than you wish to act as the server. If you want to just do a lan thing, then install all routing protocols, such as TCP/IP, IPX, Netbui and NWLink.
