What is the best sig making program or programs that you use to create

1. non-animated sigs

2. animation sigs

3. stylin' phat awesome eye opening graphic backgrounds

I use PaintShop Pro and Photo Impact for my graphic's work...

It really depends on:

1. How much do you want to spend
2. You're personal preference on the program and it's ease of use..

There's several programs that you could use, but PSP and PhotoShop are the 2 most popular and there's TONS of places to go to for tutorials.

1 - Adobe Photoshop / 3D Studio Max

2 - 3D Studio Max

3 - 3D Studio Max with Adobe Photoshop to make the image better / add effects

Actually............. MAYA BLOWS away STUDIO MAX... especially with the PAINT EFFECTS tools....... Thats where I make my backgrounds..then i just add the filters in PHOTOSHOP ( 5 ).....

if you make them in maya ... how do you save them to be able to continue them in photoshop?

Easy bro.... once you've got your BKGND the way you want it or effects.... all you do is render " ONE KEY-FRAME " and save it as a .jpg / .gif / .tiff / and either IMPORT it into Photoshop or just open the file in PS....etc.
