i like the design of it
transparency is cool
but u could make it a lot cleaner by getting rid of the jaggies.
good colour choice

in PS when u click 'save for web' > gif

there is a little tab that says 'matte'

choose the forum b/g colour ( or similar )

it then makes the jaggies the same colour as the forum b/g and hence makes them appear ( or dissapear ) as if there is no jaggies
