New surround sound system

Well kinda a funny stroy behind why I had to get a new one but the short version is my old one started to spark and eventually caught on fire and burnt up.. If you wanna know how I put the fire out just ask lol..

So I went out to walmart and picked up a 700watt philips surround sound system with dvd player.. it's a very nice system for the price ($210)... and it sounds frecking awesome!

I still have to mount the speakers but here it is:

Well when I was sitting watching a movie, it started to spark.. so I unplugged it really quick and ran it out to the balcony where it caught fire... I didn't have any water near and I had to piss really bad so.... yea. It worked great..

And I haven't got the speakers setup yet... The white box is made out of high compressed mdf wood painted white.. it's not part of the system, it's for a car..

Cool! Bet King Kong sounds good huh?

I hooked up my six Logitech computer speakers to my dvd player with a Y cable and f-f connector. All for $50

Just got the surround sound hooked up, put the speakers where they are supposed to be and replayed King Kong. OMG surround sound is awesome. If my TV was bigger I would have felt like I was in a theater.

Just awesome for $200, the DVD player owns also.

the sub in the white box isn't hooked upto anything, it would be WAY to loud for an apartment.. the system itself is 700w tho.
