I just got the Bf2 update 1.2 patch and now when i load any game i CAnt see bldings but i can see ppl and vehicles i have a strange feeling a virus got in.??

updating you gfx card drivers should to the trick.

i got the latest Ati drivers 6.2

I tried re-installing them but no effect still no buildings.

sound like a bad instill on the update, go to the game folder see if there a file update.exe in it. think there is one if so reopen it it aill check for any files not instill and get them instill. you may have to be connected to the internet.

or go to gamespy.com check you game see if there any updates that is still needed to be instill.

you may have to unstill it then re-instill the game then run the update again.

try with your gfx settings all on low, or all high, just different to what u have at the moment

Uninstall and then reinstalled the game like Cheif said and now it works i still dont know why it did that too almost all my games weird.

bad instill of the update thats all, it do happen some times.

even for DF: Xtreme & DF: BHD some times one don't get all the files download or there some files did not get instill.

mostly i rerun the update for the games seem to fix it, but again some times it don't have to do it the hardway

Listen up Troops,

Although patch 1.2 included several fixes that we know were eagerly awaited, it unfortunately introduced some new issues. These are being addressed immediately and we are working around the clock to resolve those. Patch 1.21 (coming soon) will be tested in a limited beta with select Battlefield community members starting as early as this week. We’re doing this to ensure a clean release of 1.21. In addition, we have decided to postpone the Euro Force Booster Pack until sometime after the release of the updated 1.21 patch.

On a more pleasant note, Battlefield 2 hit somewhat of a milestone last night with over 52,000 simultaneous players. This is the highest number of players we’ve seen at one time for Battlefield 2 and almost 4 times more than the peak number of Battlefield 1942.
