any1 know a good (cheap) place to get them? looking foraround 80gb - 120gb, the reason y... want to do a format without losing all my music/films ect.. and i dnt want to sit for hours burning DVDs...

@ BB, i only ever buy stuff from http://www.overclockers.co.uk unless they dont stock something i need. they usually have the best price to.

i have one of the olser Seagate models (250GB): http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal..._External.html is about £80 with postege.

80GB is gonna be about £60 with postage.

i dont think you will spend less than that tbh, because they are not much more than a drive on its own. the only other option if you want to spend less money is buy an external HDD case and put an old drive in it e.g. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...cessories.html

just had to get one myself because i can't attach ATA drives ot my current setup heheh, so i have spare drives lying around.


oh also http://www.aria.co.uk/ always have super special deals, and deal of the day, sometimes if you get the timing right you can get a good bargain
