Since ive been talking about it so much here it is, went to help build it 2day, its gonna b left on for testing (3 days) then its mine.

Really getting excited now, also company sent out wrong drivers, spent 2 hours trying to find right 1`s then, we had to switch to Raid 2 (or something like that)

looking good.yeah lol with the raid.had same here with the serial ata.it wouldnt recognize the harddisk.

thats becuz the serial ata needs its own bios driver installed.

just had to press(during initializing setup 1st stage installation of winxp) f6 i believe select a non microsoft bios or raid program.took like 5 or 6 times to realise that 1

Yea thats how it works

I was mad when i found out, my mobo came with a CD and it had the driver on it, but we didnt know what file and you had to use another computer to format the disk, lol took us a good 3 hours and 2 calls to california to finaly figure out

Took us 2 hours lol, but no phone calls, cousin just changed to raid 2 and loaded different drivers from Floppy..

Nope but my cousin does .. lol, what a sec mayb it was sata 2 ...lol

cuz i didnt know Raid goes up to 2 lol all i ever heard of was RAID I and RAID O

Was Sata 2 , red wires lead to it on the motherboard, they were at the top then changed to bottom if that helps .. lol

btw: whats the significence of the S on the graphics card?

hehehe yes the little red cables are SATA i have that hehehe but the way they mount your harddrives is RAID

(might have this backwards always messes with me)
RAID I- Stripping, for faster program starting, helps things boot faster (slows your Boot time tho) i use this
RAID O- Mirror, just basicly a backup hard drive

also funny.in the bios u tend to set the controller on sata only.but it will not recognise a single thing lol.1st u need to set the bios to auto combine.u think i have sata.so i put sata in bios.hahahah probably NOT.ur cd player probably aint ata as your floppy.so before even wondering why ur hrddisk aint recognised u still have to do this thingy:autocombine.for your non ata devices.if u dont know this can make u go bald real quickly lol.

lmao. Also got Windows 64Bit edition put on, runs brilliant (well when i seen it drivers werent on).. About less than a minute to load everything up and then everything is there as soon as its clicked on.. Im getting excited now..
