HOW ABOUT YES, he can do it and practice, but as long as he doesnt publish on the web, a book, TV, or other media, and take credit for it then he can take the image and call it his own in his little world

there is nothing in copyright laws that say you cant remake something, there are laws however against makeing and selling without proper credit

Look, ppl, i agree with edge, don't copy anything, knowing some n00b, they will copy that tutorial, but their own name on it.
Just use 2 other images and do the same as he did.

Edge just letting you know that unless you had permission to manipulate those graphics then im reasonabely sure you dont have any sort of copyright on them, infact, chances are you are infringing on someone elses copyright.

And most countries have a fair use policy in respect to education, if someone uses copyrighted material to learn something, it isnt infringing, although most of the time you still do ave to credit the author.

Copyright on the interent is very interesting, ever consider that you might not be allowed to use fonts you downloaded because you are breaching copyright? Or that PHP script you downloaded?

Although i hope that it wouldnt come to that...

lol PHP is open source and has the owner copyrights in the code (although you can change that, but doing so makes it illegal)
