Disabling nightvision???

Well I did this really really amazing map, thinking I could get to host it with the nightvision disabled, cause it's useless if players can turn it on. However, it doesn't work. Anyone know how to get around that?

N/V is always set to player choose, cant be changed

It just bothers me that there is the option in the mission editor, about nightvision, which is then useless. I was hoping there was some chance to modify that .cfg file somehow, like with "fatbullets" and "oneshotkill". Anyway, I guess I'll post that map here someday and you'll all see how great it'd be without the damn nightvision.

Is night vision really that big of a deal? if you want it to not matter just make the fog so dense ppl can't see through it setting of like 10 would do it probably

Well thanks for showing interest. Yes, disabling NV is a big deal. I tried the fog thing myself earlier, but it makes it too hard for people to see the things I want them to see and it doesn't hide all the things I don't want them to see. It's a custom built space, an old temple and caverns (like in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom) and it's supposed to be dark. I didn't create any ceilings cause it would've been a huge task and I didn't want to have so many objects, so the darkness works a ceiling, but only without NV. Also, I don't want light to escape from point A to B in the map, cause I want players to think there is solid rock in the darkness between A and B, so I used those huge concrete pier pieces to divide the map and hide the lights. There are so many little things and tweaks I 've done to cheat the eye of the player and those are all ruined with the NV. Anyway, enough of this, here's a direct link for downloading the map from my own webspace Temple of Doom
It's a single player map, with no purpose, just walk around it and check it out.

for showing a night vision goggles on the players

u have to go into the thing where u picked the map terrain and it should be on the right side, if im not mistakken, it should say something about night vision so turn that on...
