BAH.. amazon.com sucks. My and lindsay both tried for one, within 10 seconds they were sold out. It took about 5 minutes to refresh. I was lucky and got the 'button', lindsay finished refreshing about 20 seconds after me and they were sold out, before my clock even reached 1:01pm.

I saw the button and followed directions but connection timed out and I could not reconnect.. And when I did reconnect and tried to sign-in it just gave me some "This page is not functional" flippin BS.

The process:
Refresh
Click "Get this deal" button (if you are lucky enough to see it)
Re-enter password
Answer question
Recieve Code

How the F%^&% did people get through all thoes so damn quick when neither me or lindsay could connect to amazon.com? I got to the "enter password" page (after about 5 minutes) but could not go any further without a 404.

I'm not mad because I didn't get one, i'm upset that I didn't have a fair chance like others did. I didn't really expect to beat 1 million others too the punch but I did expect to have a fair chance, and would never have complained otherwise. My mom, dad, lindsay and me all tried, none of us were able to load the page. I was the only one that saw the button (after 4 minutes of waiting for the page to load, it loaded at exactly 1pm, lucky me) only to get a 404 error on the next screen. I think people are going to far by complaining to the BBB etc.

more like 30 sec.. Lindsay loaded roughly 20 seconds after me (we were on the phone together) and it said sold out already.

ah see thats where you play the competitive market, alot of places will match or beat a advertised price of a competitor, it may be hard to get a online place to match it cause youre not there, but managers will often do anything to make a customr happy and stop them making a ruckus in the store and making the store look bad...

I know Scott, but i dont get it wehy people are btching about it.... You can expect a server to crash when a million people try to connect... I think they have to be glad that they even have come onto the site... A lot of servers would have crashed so hard that they need to reboot with so many users...

I think all the people whining should get there ass whooped and have to pay twice the normal price for it...
